This year’s SAS Institute, Bridging the Skills Gap…A Pathway to Employability, is scheduled for December 8-11, 2019, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, PA.
The theme focuses on how cross-sector collaboration strengthens partnerships between education and business to advance career pathways.
Highlights include:
Keynoter Brian Busteed will focus on rethinking success and how we go about achieving it. He addresses the value of work-based learning pathways and cross-sector partnerships.
Breakout sessions will focus on:
- School Model Partnerships
- Project-Based Learning: Classroom and Workforce Alignment
- Career Cluster Connections
- Building Employability Skills
Wednesday Sessions
Half-day workshops and sessions will focus on building employability skills, e.g., Financial Literacy, PA Career Ready Skills.
